Meet the Authors of the Lean Construction Book, The Lean Builder - written by Joe Donarumo and Keyan Zandy

Joe and Keyan are long-time Lean practitioners and advocates with a shared passion for reducing waste, improving workflow, and adding value for project stakeholders. They believe that the current state of construction is broken, and that field-applied Lean—or “Builder’s Lean”—is the solution. Their experience as construction operations leaders have given them a unique perspective on the most effective ways to apply Lean practices and tools in the field, and this is the foundation of the Lean construction book, The Lean Builder. Their unique approach brings highly relatable and immediately applicable Lean processes to the field leaders and last planners who are actively doing the work of construction, where they can have the greatest impact and offer the biggest benefit.
